In upcoming weeks I will be cooking through the recipes in JK Meshi.
JK Meshi shows very simple and interesting recipes after a good amount of mundane talking. Each show is around three minutes in length so it’s a given that each dish must be explained quickly. I am very eager to want to try making these dishes because of how time friendly each are.
I have been wanting to try hamburg steak for a long time. I grew up with versions that were similar to meatloaf slathered in brown gravy. Thanks “Southern Food”. Watching anime and Japanese TV you see how popular western food really is and it was intriguing to see how they take on and change the food for their liking.

For my first video I’ll be creating the dish from episode three of Amaama to Inazuma where they make hamburg steak.
Amaama to Inazuma has the wonderful quality of being heartfelt and approachable in many ways. This has lead me to start this site to show quick cooking demonstrations from different anime shows I come across.
This dish is very straightforward and easy to make so please watch the video when it comes out and see how they made it.
